Because those photos make me feel alive.
I use my camera and... that's about it. I do not edit my photos beyond analog photography effects. I have nothing against it, but this is my way of taking pictures.
As far as music goes... anything goes, depending on the mood: from classic to rock, from ambient to opera, from metal to instrumental, from dark to pop.
Sorry. As long as at least 80% from the sales money don't go to the artist, i will not support buying prints from DA.
Would like to thank you for being one of the coolest club regarding quality, response, dedication to the community and would like to give each club member a big
! Thank you again, friends.

hmmmm.. "nvrdi", it's just "n" stands for natad (my surname) and "vrdi" is for "verdi" my first name without the second letter.
to relax and express my inner thoughts.
Everything around me. Especially things that will really caught my attention, I used that for inspiration.
As far as I can remember, 4 years! 3 years being in the graphics and advertising industry.
Both. I aim someday to be known for my art.
I don't do poetry, I suck with constructing words. I play little bit of piano and drums. I usually do digital graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw.
I also do photography, but I don't have my own personal camera. I just borrow my friend's. and oh! did I mention that I don't have a personal computer too..? (really! heheeheh..)

Exidos!
Real Name: Eljas S.
Age: 18
Location: Finland
Story behind your DA username: I don't remember why I picked this one exactly, but it had something to do with Latin and Greek. Latin word 'exitium' means 'going out or away', 'destruction', or 'a cause of destruction'. Word exodus means 'departure', so its my own combination.
Why do you create art?: Creating art works as a way of relaxing and calming down, but also as a self-therapy to me. It's very rewarding to bring the vision to a concrete form.
What sort of things inspire you to create artistic works?: Mostly it's my own mood - I have noticed that I do my works during hard and difficult times. Also the nature plays an important role.
How long have you been an artist?: I've been 5 years in DA, so that's the time I've been doing art digitally.
Do you do art for fun/hobby or is it something you hope to do as a career?: I think its mostly for fun and hobby, but I've also done some commercial works. I think I would like to keep it as a hobby because otherwise it could lose its magic.
What are all the artistic mediums that you take part in (poetry, photography, do you play an instrument, make crafts? etc): I mostly do digital art, but I also do some photography in traditional and digital way. I rarely write anything, except calligraphy, but mostly the visual way is the right one for me.

Pearl Hunter
When The Time Comes...
The EscapistWhy are these your favorites?:Creating Pearl Hunter was very demanding. I'm a complete beginner with digital painting, so making the tail was really hard. Also I'm really fond of mythology and tales, so creating mythical beings is always refreshing.
When The Time Comes is a really personal work of mine. Its about letting go and forgiving, but also seeing the other side of sadness and which can grow from it.
I think The Escapist is visually nice. I like the idea and the mood of the work, and it really symbolises the vital need of dreaming and imagination.

Half Her Heart's Duet by *
yvelineWhy are these your favorites:Raipun is a very skillful artist. Her traditional paintings looks like photomanipulations or other digital works, and that's just... amazing. They are perfect.
Yaro42's work is also stunning. The whole concept is breath taking and calming, really brilliant.
The colors of 'Half Her Heart's Duet' are beautiful. The melancholy mood is captivating and the story behind it is meaningful.
What do you use to create your art (example, what program do you use, do you use mixture of several programs, etc): Photoshop is the only program that I use.
Music that you listen to while creating art (If you do listen to music while making art, stuff that inspires you): Mostly dream pop, trip-hop and instrumental.
